

Back to Work Training Academy
Aimed at candidates who are looking to change careers or are not sure what career path to pursue. This Academy has all the ingredients to help you get into your chosen career, including presentations from Employers looking for candidates to employ and guest speakers who have been in specific industries to give you the “real picture” so you can make an informed decision.
Work experience and a GUARANTEED interview will be arranged for the candidate on successful completion of the chosen academy. During the candidate’s time in the academies, team-building will be undertaken to identify potential leaders. You will finish the “Back to Work Academy” with the following awards:
Customer Services
Dealing with difficult people
Substance misuse
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
Manual handling (inanimate objects)

SECURITY
Currently, there are 194 approved contractors in Wales (source: Home Office website) that deploy approximately 11,000 operatives weekly, accounting for approximately 11% of the licensable operatives within the private security industry.
Unlike many other training providers, our Security academy offers more than just one job prospect avenue.
There will be training for:
Close Protection, Door and Event security (BTEC Specialist level 3 Certificate for Working as a Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry.
BTEC Specialist Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.
BTEC Specialist Level 2 Award for Working as a Security Officer within the Private Security Industry

Facilities Management
Learners will gain knowledge, understanding, and skills required for employment in the facilities services sector.
The remit of Facilities management covers a range of areas including:
Negotiate, organise and monitor the delivery of services to clients.
Develop working relationships with colleagues.
Develop and implement a risk assessment plan.
Objective setting and monitoring.
Plan and schedule the maintenance of property and assets.
Preparing and managing a budget:
Level 3 Certificate in Facilities Management
Level 4 Diploma in Facilities Management
CLEANING
12% of people in occupations such as domestic cleaning are self-employed, and 66% work part-time, making it a career for those with young children or for getting back into the workforce.
Through our cleaning academy, candidates will have the opportunity to either work for a reputable company or set up their own. You will finish the “Cleaning Academy” with the following awards:
Basic legionnaire management
Asbestos Awareness
Working at Heights
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)


RETAIL
The retail sector is the UK’s largest private-sector employer, with 2.9 million employees, and by 2027, the UK will have 3.3 million retail employees.
The duration of the Retail Academy will focus not only on acquiring industry knowledge but also on achieving qualifications linked to the industry. You will finish the “Retail Academy” with the following awards:
