Back to Work Training Academy
Aimed at candidates who are looking to change career or are not sure what career path to pursue. This Academy has all the ingredients to help you get into your chosen career, including presentations from Employers looking for candidates to employ and guest speakers who have been in specific industries to give you the “real picture” so you can make an informed decision.
Work experience and a GUARANTEED interview will be arranged for the candidate on successful completion of the chosen academy. During the candidate’s time within the academies, team building will be undertaken to discover potential leaders. You will finish the “Back to Work Academy” with the following awards:
Customer Services
Dealing with difficult people
Substance misuse
Emergency First aid at Work (EFAW)
Manual handling (inanimate objects)
CLEANING
12% of people in occupations such as domestic cleaner are self-employed, 66% work part-time, making it a career for those with young children or getting back into the working environment.
Through our cleaning academy candidates will have the opportunity to either work with a reputable company or set up their own company. You will finish the “Cleaning Academy” with the following awards:

SECURITY
Currently there are 194 approved contractors in Wales (source Home office website) that deploy approx 11000 operatives on a weekly basis – accounting for approximately 11% of the licensable operatives within the private security industry.
Unlike many other training providers, our Security academy offers more than just one job prospect avenue.
There will be training for:
Close Protection,Door and Event security (BTEC Specialist level 3 Certificate for Working as a Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry.
BTEC Specialist level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.

Hospitality is part of the wider leisure, travel and tourism sector which needs to recruit over 40,000- managers, chefs, waiting and bar staff in Wales by the year 2017. The Industry is facing several key challenges, and shortages, making hospitality an industry with career prospect for anyone!
Our hospitality academy will enable candidates with the skills and knowledge to deliver a Silver Service. Three days of intensive training with the fourth day being a live service delivering the service to potential employers. You will finish the “Hospitality Academy” with the following awards:
Level 2 Food Safety in Retail, and
Level 2 Food Safety in Catering
Level 2 Food Safety in Manufacturing

The Care Academy delivers Level 2 Award for Social Care Induction (Wales) with progression to the Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) and the Level 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care both adults, children and young people. You will finish the “Contact Centre Academy” with the following awards:

The retail sector is the UK’s largest private sector employer with 2.9 million employees, and by 2017 the UK will have 3.3 million retail employees.
The duration of the Retail academy will focus on not only attaining industry knowledge, but achieving qualifications that are linked to the industry. You will finish the “Retail Academy” with the following awards:
